Business Analyst Team Lead - Software Delivery

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst Team Lead to join a major software delivery programme on an initial 12-month contract, with a strong view to moving into a permanent role.

This role will lead a team of Business Analysts while working closely with product, engineering, delivery, and business stakeholders to shape requirements, drive clarity across the software development lifecycle, and support the successful delivery of high-quality digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts across multiple software delivery workstreams.
• Partner with product managers, engineering teams, delivery leads, and business stakeholders to define and refine requirements.
• Drive high-quality business analysis outputs including user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
• Ensure requirements are clear, prioritised, and aligned to delivery goals across Agile software development teams.
• Support planning, backlog refinement, testing, release readiness, and stakeholder communication throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges early, helping teams to maintain momentum and quality.
• Promote best practice in business analysis, team collaboration, and continuous improvement across the function.
